  2. Wash all fruits and vegetables, even if you are cooking them and always cook seafood thoroughly.

  3. Avoid preparing food if you are unwell.

  4. Be sure to carefully clean all surfaces that people or food regularly come into contact with including door handles, stair banisters, and bathroom and kitchen surface, even if you think they look clean.

  5. Ensure you regularly wash clothing properly, especially if you have been in contact with other people who are under the weather.

  6. Take care when handling nappies or other soiled items, particularly if your child is unwell; and always wash your hands after.

  7. Regularly clean your toilets, and always clean them if you or anyone in your family is suffering from diarrhoea.
